If you’re interested in joiniing the soccer team, tryouts are taking place on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of November. You don’t need to have any experience to tryout but you do need to be cleared in Register My Athlete. Soccer at Kellis is not just a sport it is an opportunity to make friends, lifelong memories, and develop as a competitor.
Mrs. Perdomo, the girls soccer coach, agrees. Her own love for coach comes from, “Watching students grow, develop, and work together, that is a true gift: Playing game after game, the team builds a bond and creates memories that will last a lifetime.”
Her expectations for the team are to be committed to their teammates, coaches and the sport and to themselves. They will start doing everything with desire to improve not only in the field but as a person by committing to these things.
Coach Perdomo grew up playing soccer. She told us that her mother played soccer, and signed her up as soon as she could walk. Mrs. Perdomo played club, high school and college soccer. Having grown up playing the sport, Mrs. Perdomo says, “I learned so many life lessons fromm playing soccer while growing up, and I owe a lot of my success to these lessons.” Her wish for students is that they can take away the same lifelong benefits from their time on the Kellis soccer team. Don’t forget, if you are interested in this amazing opportunity – tryouts are coming up soon on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of November!
