GLENDALE – Fifties themed diner, Johnny Rockets, is a family friendly environment that can be enjoyed in all aspects.

Westgate is a place for high school students to hang out. They can be seen walking around, shopping, and eating. One of the places people enjoy eating at is Johnny Rockets. The 50s themed diner seats customers right away and sends a waiter to greet them and take their drink order. In a recent visit by Paw Press reporters, the waiter was very welcoming and patient while waiting to take food orders.

The food was high quality and well prepared. The Original Burger, one of the orders, was made with mustard, onion, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. The patty was cooked to perfection and the lettuce complimented the tenderness of the meat. The Chicken Tenders were crispy, flavorful and cooked to perfection.

The waiter’s name was Gabe. He was very considerate and did not mind being interviewed.

When asked what he recommended from the menu Gabe said, “The Original is what I normally get, but the Bacon Burger is a popular item as well.” He also mentioned that his favorite milkshake to order was a Strawberry Banana Shake.

Students looking for work can apply at Johnny Rockets as long as they are 16-years-old, according to Gabe. The managers and staff are nice and enjoyable to be around.

Johnny Rockets is a highly recommended restaurant for people of all ages. The food is great, the service is exceptional, and the fun is marvelous.
